My current images have developed over the last ten years into a narrative that I may use to try to captivate my viewers. The works initially seem to be some sort of a collage. In the sense that the images present seemingly random arrangements of possibly unrelated images, they are much like collage, but all the images are rendered in w/c, not cut and pasted. The complexity of the arrangements is enhanced with use of patterning, silhouettes, text lines, and repeated objects. A closer look is absolutely necessary; a consideration of associations, an attempt to either decipher my storyline or to create your own narrative would be productive. The images share enough visual affinities that one could somewhat recognize that these” short stories” are part of an ongoing anthology. This is a collection of visual stories all presented in a captivating language.
