Landscape Architecture / Landscape Design

4/1999 – 8/2009 A. Grant Thornbrough & Associates. Landscape Architecture, Land Planning & Environmental Consultants.

  • Involved in all phases of site planning, mitigation and landscape design, concept and design of hardscape features, irrigation layout and lighting selection and placement for residential, corporate, commercial, public space and institutional campus projects.
  • Worked individually on assigned projects from concept to completion. Individually responsible for and responsive to need for maintaining adherence to project schedules and satisfying client desires.
  • Imbued all projects with personal attention to detail. Efficiently resolved any problems by mapping effective solutions to identify and remove conflicts.
  • Exceptionally well versed in appropriate local and regional plant base, with current focus in native / coastal material, its availability and use as substitute for traditional, stand-by selections.

  • Contracted to propose design initiatives for inclusion into Neighborhood Improvement Project (Infrastructure Redevelopment) $250K initiative proposed and accepted ($120K P.A. & D. budget).
  • Selected to design and plan public artwork features for Franklin Park redevelopment / renovation (Broward County Parks & Recreation) $50K budget … installed and dedicated 6/2000.
